These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of chok.booking, a multi-barbershop appointment booking Progressive Web Application (PWA) operated by Sachok Barbershop ("we", "us", or "our").
By registering, accessing, or using chok.booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the application.
To use certain features of chok.booking, you must register for an account. You agree to:
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use caused by your failure to maintain the security of your credentials or Shop ID.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if we are required to do so by applicable law.
Customers may browse available barbershops, view services and pricing, select a preferred barber, and book an appointment through the App. A booking is confirmed once the barbershop administrator marks the booking as confirmed after receiving a payment receipt.
Appointment may be cancelled; however, any paid deposit is non-refundable and customer who wish to reschedule must make a new booking.
Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in restrictions on your ability to make future bookings, at the discretion of the barbershop operator or chok.booking.
Barbershop operators are responsible for maintaining accurate service availability. chok.booking is not liable for disruptions caused by an operator modifying, cancelling, or suspending their services.
New barbershop operators who register on chok.booking are entitled to a 3-month free trial period. The trial begins on the date the barbershop account is successfully created and approved. During the trial period, operators have access to all standard features of the App at no charge, including:
The free trial is available once per barbershop business entity. Creating duplicate accounts to obtain additional free trial periods is prohibited and may result in permanent account termination.
Prior to the end of the 3-month free trial, chok.booking will send reminder notifications to the registered operator via the App, SMS, and/or email. It is the operator's responsibility to ensure their contact details are current. chok.booking is not liable if reminders are missed due to incorrect contact information.
Upon expiry of the free trial, a grace period of 7 (seven) calendar days will be granted. During the grace period:
We strongly encourage operators to upgrade to a paid subscription before or during the grace period to avoid service disruption.
If the operator has not activated a paid subscription by the end of the 7-day grace period, the account will enter a Restricted state. Under restriction:
The operator may reactivate their account at any time by completing the subscription payment (see Section 5.5).

Once reactivated as an Active subscriber, all features will be restored and the barbershop listing will be made publicly visible again. All data retained during the restriction period will be fully restored upon reactivation.
The standard subscription fee for chok.booking is MYR 40.00 per month per barbershop account. Billing is on a monthly basis commencing from the date of subscription activation. chok.booking reserves the right to update subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
chok.booking supports QR code-based payment collection for both customer service payments and operator subscription activation. By initiating a payment through the App, you authorize the relevant transaction amount. You agree to:
All service prices are set by individual barbershop operators and displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Prices may vary between branches and are subject to change by the operator.
Refund policies for barbershop services are determined solely by individual barbershop operators. chok.booking does not process or guarantee service refunds. Subscription fees paid to chok.booking are non-refundable unless required by Malaysian consumer protection law.
chok.booking maintains transaction records processed through the App. Authorized barbershop operators may access business reports including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales summaries.
All content within chok.booking including the application design, logos, branding, text, graphics, and software is owned by or licensed to Sachok Barbershop and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Barbershop operators may upload barbershop photos, work gallery images, and barber profile photos. By uploading content, you grant chok.booking a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display such content within the App, and you warrant that you own or have full rights to the content uploaded.
You must not upload content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, or in violation of any third-party rights or Malaysian law.

chok.booking is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
The App may integrate with third-party services including payment gateways and notification providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
chok.booking acts as a platform connecting customers with independent barbershop operators. We are not responsible for the quality of services rendered, conduct of barbers, or disputes between customers and operators.
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sachok Barbershop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of revenue, missed appointments, or service disputes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We encourage all parties to contact us directly before initiating legal proceedings.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of chok.booking after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
